Renovation of the largest hotel in metropolitan Washington

Owner’s Representation and Project Management services, on behalf of the owner, Thayer Lodging Group, for the final phase of the $100 million complete renovation of the Hotel. This included the renovation of 1,000 guest rooms, all public gathering areas, the ballrooms, conference facilities and three specialty restaurants.
Company completed the $33 million final phase on time and on budget in a record breaking 12 weeks. This phase included the renovation of all major program elements, including 1,000 guest rooms, all public gathering areas, ballrooms, conference facilities and three specialty restaurants. A new entrance and porte cochere were also added to the hotel. The hotel remained open and operated throughout the entire renovation, with little interruption to guest services.
